Saarbrücken is a  2,5 hours ride from the airports of Frankfurt, Frankfurt-Hahn (Ryanair), Paris, Strasbourg and Luxembourg. From the airport of Saarbrücken to the city it is an only 10 minutes ride by car and it is also easy to reach the city by taxi (around 25 €) or by bus (3 €).

Saarbrücken Airport – From the airport you can take bus no. R10 (direction "Saarbrücken Hbf") to get to the main railway station of Saarbrücken.

Frankfurt Airport – From the airport you can take the train to Saarbrücken. Be sure to enter „Frankfurt Airport“ in the “from” field, as the airport has its own train stations.

Luxembourg Airport – From Luxembourg you can take the bus (no.16) from the airport to the main railway station. You then take the train or the bus (approx. travel time 1.5h) to Saarbrücken. 

Paris Airport – From the airport you can take the train to Saarbrücken. Be sure to enter „Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 – TGV“ in the “from” field, as the airport has its own train stations.

Strasbourg Airport – From the airport you can take the shuttle train from the airport to main railway station first. You then take the train to Saarbrücken. 

Frankfurt/Hahn Airport – There is a bus connection to Saarbrücken (around 20 €). The bus leaves twice a day from Terminal B (stop 15) and you will arrive in Saarbrücken at the "Fernbusbahnhof Dudweilerstraße" which is within walking distance of the main railway station.
